SPACE MURAL
This is a mural I designed and painted for Apollinaire Theatre Company's summer production of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. I got inspiration by doing research of space and themes presented in the play taking place in the park. Using a limited color pallet and tools to simulate the actual painting experience, I completed a variety of digital paintings that would make up the composition. From there, I painted and designed simultaneously because the proportions of the mural did not lend themselves to be rendered in scale. The mural shows the progression of the creation of the cosmos and the heavenly bodies from nothingness, through stars, nebulae, galaxies, and finally planets.
